You may need to contact a local swan breeder and see if he/she can provide you with some feathers. If the feathers come from a wild swan, especially a Trumpeter Swan, you may need to get a permit for possession, which may not be worth the time or effort. There are probably swan breeders in your area that will be happy to supply them. It is however, illegal to import feathers from outside Canada and you will definitely need a permit, but also have to deal with quarantine issues if you do so. Hope this helps. The Regal Swan
