In Response To: Single swan stops at lake behind our house every Fall (Karen)

We have a small lake behind our house and for at least five years we have had a swan come and hang out in the fall for about a month. The it disappears until the following year. We live in Omaha NE and never see any other swans in the area. We have always wondered why it is alone and why it stops here in the Fall. Thanks!
