It is migration time for birds and the parents are beginning to chase their offspring out of the habitat prior to the new nesting season. If you are near a flyway or winter migratory station, the juveniles will be encouraged to leave the habitat, meet and mingle with other juveniles to find a future mate. The young swan may or may not return to the family prior to the other cygnets leaving, but eventually the other cygnets will also be chased from the habitat. The Regal Swan
