For the past 10 years, the Regal Swan research and educational staff have been consulting with veterinarians and swan keepers/owners worldwide. In 2008, we became a non-profit (501) c 3 foundation with the sole purpose of providing humane veterinary medical care for swans worldwide through research and education. We have never and will never charge for our consulting services.

This year, we were to conduct a fund-raiser to help us provide expenses and materials directly related to swan care at various municipal and conservation settings worldwide. Because of recent budget cuts to city and county governments, swan flocks are now in jeopardy of losing humane veterinary medical care and food. Yes, police and schools are important, but many of these public swan flocks have been in existence since the early 1900's and still need care. Unfortunately, when budgets are crunched, so is the upkeep of parks and their wildlife.

The Regal Swan Foundation, Inc., has been inundated in recent months with requests for veterinary medical assistance, food and material purchases for various swan flocks. We have honored each and every one of these requests and are continuing. However, we are now feeling the budget crunches from various sponsors not able to help this year with our research and charitable efforts.

It is for this reason that we are now asking swan owners and lovers from around the world to help us out if possible. Any small donation will help us continue providing food, materials and any other needed care for public swan flocks. Your donation is greatly appreciated and is tax-deductible.
