Mother nature usually takes care of this by either the mother kicking the carcass out of the nest or a predator takes the carcass. If you are absolutely sure it is dead, remove the carcass and bury it while the family is away from the nest. This will prevent predators and pests such as ants from accessing the nest and affecting the entire family. The Regal Swan
