In Response To: Mute swans and their cygnets moved to adjacent pond (Ally)

Hello,

A pair of mute swans have nested on one of the several ponds on our local golf course.

The 5 cygnets were viewed for the first time 3 days ago, but the whole family have moved to an adjacent pond around 200 metres away. Why would they move so soon?
