Again, your information has been so helpful. I'm sorry I didn't make inquires sooner, so it is definitely too late to pinion the cygnets So my next questions are about the best time to give them away? As I mentioned there are 3 surviving babes and they are about 6 weeks old. I have someone that wants to adopt a couple of them. But of course we don't know the sex, so we can't assure a pair.....
I just don't know what would be best for the swans. Should I offer to have her take all three and just let the single one stay with us until it flies off? Also, I would assume that they are still learning from their parents, so what age should I let them be taken away. I just want what is best for these swans and don't have the information to make a decision! Please help
