Hi Nelly:

The swan with the turkey and sheep is amazing. If you can capture the swan, we would strongly suggest that you clip its wings. The state of Ohio as many other states are trying to kill the Mute Swans. So, if this swan leaves the protection of the sanctuary, it could be killed by state or federal wildlife officials. This will keep her in the sanctuary, used to feed and will be more apt to keep year round.

As far as the food, you probably need to feed her cracked corn and the poultry layer pellets that you feed chickens, etc. Since we don't know what the other food is comprised, we would recommend the cracked corn to act as a filler and provides Vitamin A as well as the pellets which provide minerals and micro-nutrients. Thanks for sharing. The Regal Swan
