In Response To: Mute swan in Michigan: Fines? (Mike)

hello, I am in the process of trying to rehabilitate a mute swan in Michigan. The DNR says it is illegal to rehabilitate mute swans. Which I don't really care what they say. I dont believe in any animal suffering even though they are trying to kill them off. My question is, Do you know what kind of penalties or fines are involved if caught doing this ?
