In Response To: How to put new adult Mute Swans together (Jim)

We have one adult Mute Swan on a 3 acre lake and have another adult we just got but have them seperate. We do not know the sex of either. How or what is the best way to try to get them to get along with each other. I am fencing off a 100'X12' long area along one shoreline with some water to put the new one in for awhile so they can see each other but not get at each other. They have not seen each other yet. Any suggestions would be great.
