Yes, we are aware of this case as we were contacted about the cygnet and its feet. We have seen this condition in other swans, usually in cygnets. This is usually a bacterial infection most likely caused by poor water quality. A simple antibiotic ointment can usually clear the infection. However, if it fails to heal, then a veterinarin should take a scraping to see if it is viral and may need another course of treatment. The Regal Swan
