How long is the mating season?

If I can catch either pair I would hate that they have to stay penned for a long time.

Is there someone that has mastered the art of catching swans?

I would love to catch these rogue swans (2 year olds) to pen them, however, I am not sure how that is possible.

My older pair is still staying out of the lake. We are feeding them their waterfowl food and give them the lake water, however, I am concerned that they NEED to be in the water to bath and get the muck from the lake for digestion. Are they okay out of the water? It has been raining so their feathers are getting cleaned.

Also, is it possible to pinion 2 year old swans?

and.. my 5-year old female has had a broken wing for 2 years. When I spoke to a Zoo and also my animal Vet they indicated she will adjust. She has adusted, however, I am hoping it is not painful since it drags on the ground.

And.. is there an Vet that handles large birds near Pierce County, WA?
