In Response To: Feeding/raising an abandoned black swan cygnet (Vicki Robertson)

Hi...hope you can help with what we should feed a very young black swan cygnet...we think only a few weeks old. It is late summer in NZ. He is still covered in down with vestigial wings (not that I know if it is a he or a she!) Would chicken starter mash be OK or is there something else we could mix up? S/he has been given a mash made up of egg and cat biscuits till now, but I am not sure that is the right thing to feed her. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks :)
