I went to check our swans - all are just fine. My special old Boy was SO funny! He was "miffed" as he always is if I miss a day with his glucosamine bread cubes (didn't get down yesterday) so he headed to the opposite side of the lagoon TWICE, each time I came around... but I finally caught up with him when he returned to his special spot.

Well - he got so excited, he came right up to the path, had his tidbits, then began to preen. Several people came along, and I told them he loves to be told he's gorgeous, so they heaped admiration on him, as he stood there, all fluffed up to double his usual size, with much head-lifting followed by preening.

He returned to the water after a while, but came up again after a few minutes, and stayed for quite a while.

Papa Swan came along and who'd believe it.... Boy almost flew back down to the water so he could join Papa while they both did their twirling routine in the water. Round and round and round they went until their world must have been spinning! Those two are so funny! As long as they don't go too near Precious' end, they're fine but sometimes they forget.

Precious and Marlika were both out together again today, and looked so sweet, nibbling on grass side by side..

Papa Swan went back to join his little mate down by the Stone Bridge.

The teddies are all just fine, Genghis Swan was in chase-mode and having a lot of fun.

Tristan and Isolde were dozing on the water, and all was fairly peaceful.
