Junior the Cygnet, son of Precious, now has a new name: "Bijan".

Here is why Sonia suggested this name - she wrote "i like the name bijan because it has a confidant ring and it means hero. bijan makes me think of a royal leader in persia. PS: i live in atlanta and we have a pair of swans. their names are valentino and juliet."

As prize for winning the contest, Sonia received from The Swans of Stanley Park a BC jade clock and a set of cards with pictures of our swans including - of course - Bijan.
