Little did the two curious raccoons know they had attracted the attention of Tristan who cruised over to check things out. He sped toward the two whiskered bandits with wings up, and an almighty HiiiiiIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSS!!

Raccoons usually pose a danger to swans, but in this case, Tristan definitely won the day. The raccoon on the left took off like a streak, tumbling through the reeds while his companion dashed up the closest tree nearby – a small willow. There he dangled while Tristan continued to circle and hiss until something even more interesting took his fancy - as he swam off to join the other swans, a young raccoon softly crept down from his tree and took off.

Through all this excitement, our little swan never missed a beat – nibbling to his heart’s content while the adventure passed him by!
