Our Bijan (Precious and Marlika’s cygnet) is maturing more every day, as his brown feathers whiten and he asserts his independence around the lagoon.

He still spends time with Mom and Dad, but soon they will separate as spring days start a new cycle. His parents will push him away bit by bit, as they prepare for a new nesting season. He’s already a pioneer-explorer and loves to check out his world, so the separation won’t be too sudden.
