Sub Title:A Typical Spring Day

Marlika still on nest with cygnet popping out from under her wing and getting more active today - it looks like a strong, healthy little one, and has grown a wee bit since yesterday. Marlika still turning one or two eggs. Precious nearby as always. Mom and Dad have not taken the little one for first swim yet.

I have a feeling that Marlika's remaining egg/eggs may not be fertile, since nothing else has hatched, although it can take a couple of days. We'll know for sure if there's no action by tomorrow.

Tristan and Isolde were dozing on the daisy hill. It appears that Isolde is starting to grow a couple of tail feathers! I can't help wondering whatever happened to her tail while she was in captivity. This week, there's a cute little feather longer than the others back there, so maybe her tail will grow back completely. Her feathers, so awry when she first arrived at the Lagoon, have smoothed down so much, giving her a swan-shape!

Brother and Boy are having a ball in the water, and when they're not hanging out with Tristan and Isolde, they're chasing them!!

Mama and Papa Swan holding the fort on the other side, and thankfully, not chasing anybody!
