I have a 4 year old mute swan pair on a 3/4 acre dam. Only the Pen has been pinioned. The Cob yesterday took off but luckly only made a circle and came back. Do i have to cut his fleight feathers every 3 months or would he stay with his long beloved mate and enjoy the flying on his own ?
