I have attached a picture of the female swan on our lake. She did not lay her eggs this Spring on schedule. She was resting on our shore and i got close enough to observe that she has an injury. It also appears that the eggs may still be inside her. She is feeling better and eating a little and going in the water. The area does not look infected. Is it possible that this will heal on its own.
