You need to get someone to come out and capture the swan, safely on the ice so no one falls through or gets stuck. The use of a boat, kayak or other rescue device is required. The impending inclement weather coming in this weekend requires immediate attention or the swan could die from exposure, dehydration, drowning, starvation or predation. If the swan cannot fly, it needs to be placed in a sanctuary or safe area either permanently or at least until the spring when the pond thaws.
