Thank you for the information. We were so afraid she might starve herself. We live in Pennsylvania and there are no rights for the swans. Which is ridiculous! Our swans lived in our community for 20 years and were part of our lives.they did not fly. This hunter knew they were here and stalked them. He purposely shot his gun to get him airborne. His wings were still touching water when he was shot.the game warden did not file charges cause this hunter said the swan was flying over the lake. He killed the swan on our private lake and retrieved it on our private property. we have been on the news and social media under Lake Valhalla swan killed. He has been portraying himself as the victim and that the hunt was legal as innocent and a legal but we know what he did since we had two eyewitnesses. Our journey has just begun. Once again thank you for the info.
