Hi, in our local park, Dublin, Ireland, there is one male swan with 2 females and 2 nests. One hatched 9 cygnets 4 weeks ago, 7 left and doing well. Mum and dad raising them together. The other female is still incubating alone and due to hatch any minute now. What will happen when the 2nd clutch hatch? Will he go to her or will she be a single parent? Is this set up unusual?
