Hi, I live in Inverness, Scotland. While walking by the Caledonaian Canal this morning we saw 3 white, looked like fully grown, swans together. Further up the canal, a good bit, we saw another white swan on its own. The lone swan suddenly started flying very close to the water & flew all the way down to the 3 swans. We weren't close enough to see what happened but the the lone swan started swimming back up the canal and the 3 swans swam away in the opposite direction. Leaving us feeling very sorry for the lone swan.
