Thank you for your response. Juliet is with a ruddy shell female duck and they seem to get ok.

Funny you mention geese; we have a separate pond area for them (20 now ) and let them out keeping the swan and duck in their enclosure. Then we put the geese away and let the swan and duck out.

Until your comment below about Juliet having company we were under the impression that geese and swans don't mix. Are you saying we can mix them ? I'm asking as both teams seem to delight in screaming at each other over the fence on occasion.
