Yes, the swans can inbreed with no problem. With the black swans, down the road, you may get a light coloring called Mearl or Silver. If this should happen, please let us know because we know someone that would love to have a new bloodline of Mearls and any cygnets that might carry this gene would be very helpful. The Regal Swan
