Have mute swan, he is almost 1yr, he hurt his left wing. I took him to vet got Metacam and Enrofloxacin tablet to give him. He has been on this for 3 weeks wing is still really warm. x-rays were taken showed wing not broke but thought it to be severely dislocated. Vet feels infection is deep inside. The vet mentioned to have that part of wing removed. How well do they handle having surgery also we would have to travel a couple of hours to get there. How good are they with stress? I have x-ray on disk. Can you give me any advise if so need it as soon as possible. Thank You
