In Response To: Please sign Sen. Avella's Bill & Petition to Save NY's Mute Swans (Regal Swan Foundation)

SIGN & SHARE: NY Senator Tony Avella has introduced S.6589, legislation which would establish a two-year moratorium on DEC’s proposal to exterminate New York's mute swans.

The bill would also require DEC to document significant or meaningful damage by mute swans before any "eradication" methods could begin, and many other elected officials have joined as co-sponsors in the Senate and the Assembly. The DEC may be releasing their revised plans soon - please sign (link below) and share Sen. Avella's petition to stop the killing plans!
