I clipped a swan's wing yesterday and blood was dripping. I don't know how much blood he lost. Then I read the feathers bleeding should have been removed. The swan is in the lake eating today. The clipping was yesterday. Is there any food I can give the swan to build up the blood platelets that were lost. This swan is a year old. I know now that these were new feathers after molting but what can I do for now to help this swan foodwise? I made a big mistake. I've clipped for years in the same manner but have never seen a blood feather. Thank you
