Hello...I work with an enormous retirement community in southern Ontario. We are on 45 hectares and have 13 extremely large spring fed pond (almost mini lakes). Currently we rent 2 mute swans per pond but are having absolutely no luck with breeding. I have no idea if we're getting males/females or all females and/or males. I would like to look into attracting wild swans but we are not on a flyway. We, of course, attract Canadian geese but not the swans. We have beautiful trumpeter swans that populate Lake Ontario only 15 minutes away in large numbers, so they are around. What can we do?
