In Response To: Swans abandon eggs? (Victoria)
Hi Victoria
Yes swans will kick rotten or infertile eggs from the nests so that the eggs do not mess-up the nest or the smell attract predators. Usually, by rolling them out of the nest, the eggs will go into the water and be swept deeper into the water or eaten by turtles. The Regal Swan
