Hi, our neighborhood consists of about 100 homes, and we have three lakes with walking paths alongside them. About 1 1/2 years ago a group of homeowners purchased 2 male mute swans who are now 2 years old. We bought 2 males because we were told that they would be less aggressive than a pair. Lately, the swans have become quite aggressive, coming out of the water and chasing people who are walking, even attacking small children by swatting them and nipping them. We are at a loss as to how to deal with this. We are considering neutering them at the OSU veterinary service. Would this help with the aggression?
