I found a swan in my backyard - in my pool that was half full - the swan I think could not get out, so I filled up the pool with water again; now the swan is out of the pool but has stayed in my yard. It has been three days now and the swan is still there.

I am not sure what to do, as I have dogs that usually run free in the yard (now I keep them enclosed, as the swan seems aggressive).

There is a river running behind my backyard, I assume the swan would be happy there, but I don't know if it can fly over the fence.

What should I do?
