I work where the management has had a pair of swans at the pond. Last weekend one of my coworkers was walking and notice there was blood on the female swan. He called management. They had her taken to the emergency vet. They had to put her down because her foot was mangled. Any way we were wondering what would be the best thing for the male at this point. He is the only bird on the pond except for passing geese. We are all so sad.
