Hello again: We're wondering if our new Trumpeter "resident' will decide to stay, or migrate during winter, and possibly return with a mate next year to start a family? As I mentioned, it is likely a juvenile that was here with it's family last year doing recognizance, and now, this year it's been left behind to fend on its own. We live in Northeast PA. and I do have a captive mute swan, but he is kept away from the large pond area because he's pinioned, and that pond is not predator proof.
