Eggs Lost From Rising Water

Hi...we have a pair of swans across the street from us in a small pond. Every year we have enjoyed the baby cygnets the two of them proudly put on display in that pond after they've hatched. This year they had 6 eggs in the nest, they've been sitting on them for about a month. This past weekend we had over 6 inches of rain and the pond got so high it almost topped it's banks. The swans always build their nest close to the water and in past years she has managed to keep the eggs together and still hatch them out. Apparently this year, the waters were to much for them. Today, I sadly seen her and her mate swim out into the middle of the pond together. When I went over to look at her nest, it looked as if the water pushed it up against the bank and I could see only one egg laying next to it on the muddy ground. Is it possible that they may still breed again and lay eggs this season?
