I live on the water, marsh area. I have swans mate and nest close by me over the past 20 yrs... however this past summer 2014 the parents that had babies took care, after a time one of the swans was kicked out, not allowed into the litter... we watched as they chased her/him out.. this swan would come back by the nest looking.... winter has past new year 2015, and I think its the same swan in his/her territory along with two new swans looking to mate... I do not like how they are treating the abandoned swan from last yr...help me understand !! thank you
