Hi
We have a pair of mute swans in our bay. This is their third year nesting here.
This year our water levels are record highs. Everything under water including the nest she was sitting on. She had to leave it month or so ago.
However both swans have stayed with us. We feed them a few times a day. Cow corn and are regular visitors to our shoreline every time they see activity.
I see they are still checking their old nest a few times every day. If the water recedes soon is there a chance more eggs will be laid this year or is it too late?
Thank you
Wayne
