1 pair of swans and another female on same pond

We lost our male Mute and caught the female and penned it up. Then got another pair and put them on the pond. The female got out and is now back on the pond and she had a fight with the new male. I was able to break it up but could not catch her. They are now staying different ends. Will they fight again? I need to catch but I'm having trouble with this.
