My pair of mute swans ready to have babies again

Hello, it has been a year since we had three baby cygnets. They did not survive. We left them with their parents last year and the parents were doing a really good job. I took them to get pinioned when they were 4 days old. One lived 10 days, the second 12 days and the last 15 days. The first two died of turtles pulling them under the water and eating them. The third one was killed by a huge snake. It was a horrid experience. I really need advice. Should we take the babies from the parents this year knowing that there are so many ways for them to die while the parents are helpless. We do have a safe place to keep the babies, it is an enclosure about 15 feet by 15 feet, totally safe, grass and good soil. We have a small kiddy pool in there that we could fill for them. We could even get pond water from our pond to put in it. What would we feed the babies? I have a good relationship with the parents, they trust me, should we take their babies when we get them pinioned and not return them to the parents? Please advise. The babies are due about May 29. Thank you, Katherine
