Hi Jim
Yes, due to hormone levels increasing during mating season, female swans can still lay eggs wirh no male present. Obviously, the eggs are not fertile, but the female will still do what nature dictates and sit on the eggs. The egg sitting will continue until her hormone levels return to normal and she realizes that the eggs are not viable. The Regal Swan
