This year my husband built a little ladder from the riverside on to our garden and we now have mum n dad and 7 cygnets come and go as they please (1 is white). They now appear to have moved in, which is no problem at all. Is there anything we can do to make it safer and more comfortable for them at night? They also head bob at us a lot, make low little sounds and paddle on the spot when they are the water. Are they happy or am I imagining it?
