Hi,
If you remember me from a few months back ... our female swan was hit by a car and killed in January. The remaining male was stalked by foxes but we managed to keep him alive with several aerator systems installed in our lake. The lake is now melted and he has been staying mostly on my end of the lake. I am still supplementing his feeding two times per day but he has started foraging for food.
Patrick (his name) has been defending his food against numerous Canadian geese just like the deceased female did. But yesterday he was attacked by an aggressive goose and chased away. He now seems reluctant to come over to me for feedings. Will this be the norm or will he eventually assert himself and chase away this assertive goose??
Thanks,
Lynne
