Hi Brenda
If she is nesting in a new area and he remembers the old site and food, he will revisit the old site. If she is on eggs, she will not venture large distances. In fact, she will only leave about 30 minutes or less to feed and bathe. So, unless you are seeing 3 swans, there is still a chance that it is your female swan sitting on the nest. If it is not, and there is a female swan not paired with another in your area, then yes, he will re-pair with another swan. If there is not a sole female, then unless you reintroduce another swan, he will obviously live alone and be just fine. Reintroducing another swan will take a lot of work and requires a safe pen to be built to house the new swan for introducton to its new habitat etc. If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
