I live in Muncie, Indiana. We have a river that runs through town with parkland around it and we have some geese that live here year round and some geese the migrate with the populations getting bigger right about now. I saw what I first thought was a brown goose but as I approached it, it was clear that it had a very long neck. It was fawn colored on it's neck, head and back. The wing feathers were several shades of light brown and grey and the belly looked closer to a light tan or white. I don't seem to be able to match it to any images I have found on the web. Any ideas what I might have seen.
