In Response To: Significance of a swan flying in front of you. (Chad)
Hi Chad:
Regardless of a swan being wild or domesticated, most flight paths are for finding food, another habitat or evasive tactics. If a swan is flying that close to you, you were possibly in its way. Just as you would swerve your car to evade an obstacle, so must the swan. In traffic, the swan or other birds, have to not only evade the vehicles approaching, but it also must try to gain lift to get out of traffic. Again, the shortest path to his route may have been to fly directly in front of you. The Regal Swan
