Thanks for sharing.
Albert II will be fine and will resume eating soon. Nature does not allow animals or birds to grieve for long periods of time as this would be detrimental to the entire flock/herd and themselves. There is a possibility that if one or both cygnets is a female, he will choose one as his new mate.
In any case, the next nesting site must be protected from predators. Central Florida has many predators that will attack nesting birds, especially those that cannot fly to escape, such as raccoons, turtles, alligators, bobcats, foxes, coyote and panther. The Regal Swan
