Hi Roger:

The swan could have been chased from the habitat by its parents due to the upcoming breeding season. He/she may be lost and not know where else to go. There could also be something wrong with the swan so that it cannot fly and move on.

We would suggest that you contact RSPCA or Wendy Hermon at Swan Support (07968 868172) in Datchet so that they can dispatch someone to capture and exam the swan to insure it is not hurt or sick and release it back into an area with other swans. Thanks for caring. The Regal Swan
